asaphos.com (AsaphOS) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

1. Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the following accessibility standards:

• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
• Israeli Standard SI 5568 — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
• Israeli Accessibility Regulations (2017) — Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities

While we strive for full compliance, we recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are continually working to identify and resolve accessibility barriers.

2. Accessibility Measures

AsaphOS takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our platform:

• Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
• ARIA attributes on all interactive components (dialogs, menus, accordions, forms)
• Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements with visible focus indicators
• Sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text)
• Skip navigation links to bypass repetitive content
• Descriptive labels on all form inputs and interactive controls
• Minimum 44×44 pixel touch targets for all interactive elements
• RTL (right-to-left) language support for Hebrew
• Decorative images hidden from screen readers with aria-hidden
• Error messages programmatically associated with form fields via aria-describedby

3. Accessibility Overlay Widget

We provide an open-source accessibility overlay widget (open-nagish) on all pages that offers over 20 assistive tools:

• Font size adjustment and text spacing controls
• High contrast, dark mode, and grayscale display options
• Dyslexia-friendly font toggle
• Reading guide and cursor enhancement
• Link and heading highlighting
• Image alt text overlay
• Animation and motion stop
• Screen reader–optimized preview mode

The widget is available in Hebrew, English, Arabic, and Russian, and automatically switches language with the platform locale.

4. Testing Methods

Our accessibility testing includes:

• Correct heading structure and landmark navigation
• Keyboard operability for all interactive components
• Color contrast verification
• Screen reader compatibility testing

5. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the platform may not yet be fully accessible:

• Third-party content: Some embedded content from third-party payment providers (PayPal, Tranzila) may not fully conform to accessibility standards.
• PDF documents: Some auto-generated PDF invoices may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
• Legacy email templates: Some HTML email notifications may have limited accessibility support in certain email clients.

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all areas of the platform.
